Homemade Shawarma .......

Hoo .. I took much gap to post the recipe of my homemade shawarma .. Now a days I 'm bit  lazy to scribble something on my blog.. Thank u so much to all my frndz n relatives who encouraged me to continue my cooking experiments and liked my posts soon posted it on my FB wall.

I really love to have snacks in the evening , especially when i come back home aftr my work. Now a days, Shawarma  is one of the best selling snack.Wherever we go , we can see lot of shawarma corners everywhere. So i can easily come to the point that this is becoz of the demand for this snack .. ryt..  I really like dis snack  very much and i try to get one when i come to home. .. Its very easy to prepare this dish @ home. Letz try out my homemade shawarma recipe and plz put ur comments to make dis dish more tasty..

Servings - 10 qnty

Kubboos

Ingredients

Milk- 1/2 cup
Yeast - 1 tspn
Sugar- 1 tspn
Salt- a pinch
Maida- 3 cups

Method

1. Mix milk, yeast and sugar and keep it for 15 -30 minutes.
2. Mix maida and milk mixture and make a dough, make small balls in lemon size and
    Keep it for 1hr.
3. Roll it like chappathi and cook it without using oil.

Marinating Chicken

Ingredients

Chicken - 500gm
Pepper powder- 2 tspn
Turmeric powder-1 tspn
Ginger/Garlic Paste - 1 tspn
Curd - 1 tbspn
Lime juice - 1 tspn
Salt - little

Method

 Clean and wash the chicken. Marinate it with all the ingredients as mentioned
 above and keep it for 3- 4hrs.


Fillings & Rolling Shawarma

Ingredients


Cucumber - 300 gms
Cabbage - 250 gms
Carrots - 2
Tomato (medium ) - 2-3

Mayonnaise Sauce - as required.
Oil - 4- 5 tbspn

Method


1. Cut all the vegetables and keep it in a bowl.
2.  Heat oil in a pan and fry the marinated chicken until it is golden yellow in color. 
3. Now cut the fried chicken into very small peices and mix it with enough vegetables 
   and add little  mayonnaise Sauce with dis mix. If you like the spicy taste, then add little 
   white pepper powder and tomato ketchup and mix well.
4. Now apply little  mayonnaise sauce in the kubbos and place the filling  inside it and roll it in 
   a butter paper.
